During the summer of 2023, I had the privilege of interning with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama in Hoover, AL. I worked in their corporate communications and community relations department. This internship opened my eyes to the corporate world and showed me the amount of opportunities I have within communications. I wrote articles, assisted the media and communications team with various projects, and worked on the creation of social media content. ​
